There’s a new trend sweeping the nation. Glamping villages are popping up everywhere, and we love it. What better way to commune with nature but still be protected from the weather and bugs. I hate bugs!
Texas recently gained one of these glamping resorts. The Range Vintage Trailer Resort is a family-run vintage airstream hotel, campground, and event center. It is located 30 minutes southeast of Dallas on 30 picturesque acres in the town of Bristol.
This funky campground and resort features restored Airstreams and vintage trailers to rent instead of staying in a hotel. There are also sites for you to bring your own vintage model.
Vintage trailer hotel and resort
In a recent press release, the owners, Sarah and Paul Beauregard, shared this statement:
“As Airstream owners ourselves, we wanted to build the space that we craved with a focus on nature, a ton of privacy, and the opportunity for community. If you live and love the Airstream and vintage trailer life, or just want to experience it for a few days, we offer an easy way to enjoy camping and the outdoors with family and friends.”
According to the owners, the resort size, limited sites, and space between sites make The Range ideal for those still wanting to be socially distant. Families and couples should feel comfortable vacationing together with limited interaction with others.
Renovated vintage trailers and Airstreams
For a real treat, you can book your stay in one of 7 completely self-contained Airstreams or vintage trailers. All vintage trailers have their own bathroom, kitchenette, A/C, wooden deck, propane fire pit, Weber charcoal grill, and quality linens.
The sites are roomy and at least 100 feet apart for added privacy. The models are unique and renovated to their original time period but with modern conveniences like a Nespresso coffee maker.

Sarah and Paul live a low-waste lifestyle and repurpose items as much as possible. They carried this conservative nature into their business. You will see custom-made reclaimed wood outdoor tables and benches at each one-of-a-kind site. Their mission also can be seen in other details on the property: a rusted oil piping fence, reclaimed doors on most buildings, and vintage trailers dating back to 1953.
Plans are already in the works to add more vintage trailers for rent.
You are welcome to bring your own vintage trailer or Airstream
Are you a vintage trailer or airstream owner already? Is the trailer over 25 years old? If so, you can reserve one of 22 sites to camp with those who enjoy the same retro vibe.
Every spacious site, 125 feet apart, includes full hook-ups: electric (30 or 50 amp), water, and sewer. Sites are on concrete pads (15×35) and accommodate vintage trailers up to 32 feet—Back-in and pull-thru options available. All Airstreams of any year and model are welcome. Make sure to inquire in advance if your vintage trailer qualifies for a visit.
Cats and dogs are welcome, so bring your furry friends with you too.

The reviews about this vintage trailer and Airstream oasis are pouring in.
“What a gem! This is more than a camping spot, it’s a destination, in an absolutely beautiful area. The barn with games, campfire set up, wildflower trails, bathhouse and little pond were all so thoughtfully and tastefully done. There is so much natural beauty in this space, and the attention to all the little details strike the perfect balance of nature and accommodations…you won’t want to leave!
